Multi-stakeholders' Cooperation for the Agriculture What is s key to the success?
Agriculture is demanding than ever before, with environmental responsibility and sustainability. With many stakeholders, such as farmers, companies, governments, and academics acting independently, sustainability goals are difficult to achieve. How should the the need to have a"Multi-Stakeholder Co-operation" be promoted in the agricultural sector? How should “Multi-Stakeholder Co-operation” be advocated in the digital and financial worlds? We will discuss global and local perspectives.

What Is Global Action Plan for the UN "Decade of Family Farming?": Implications for National Action Plans
The United Nations launched the UN Decade of Family Farming (2019-2028) this year and promotes policies for family farming along with achievement of SDGs. At the opening event of the UN Decade of Family Farming in May 2019 in Rome, its Global Action Plan, elaborated in Civil Society Mechanism, was officially distributed as the agenda for the international society from 2019 to 2028. This workshop session aims to introduce what this Global Action Plan seeks, to illustrate the way it was established, and to provide implications for up-coming elaboration of National Action Plan in each country, including Japan. After a presentation of Dr. Sekine, Dr. Bosc will give his comments on it and discussions will be opened with participants.
